Custom Options

The standard specs are just the starting point of your custom mandolin project. The great thing about custom ordering is that you get to choose what the final instrument will look like so that it can be a one-of-a-kind creation.

Colors (Endless Options)

All of my colors are hand mixed for each mandolin project. Following are photos of some of the colors that I have used. Many were matched from photos sent to me by clients. I will be happy to match any color you may find or work with you to create a color or combination of colors for your instrument.

Due to the extra labor involved in gloss black and blonde finished mandolins, these colors will carry the following upcharges:

Gloss Black face - $150.00 upcharge

Blonde (natural) - $200.00 upcharge

Inlays

Peghead inlay is one of the great ways for you to customize your mandolin. Standard pricing includes a choice of many inlays. Some are shown below. During the quote / order process we can discuss other options for both standard and up-grade inlays. Custom inlays are also available (see Cherub, Seahorse and other inlay pictures below).

All EBMW mandolins come with the standard 'Blevins' peghead inlay as seen on most of the peghead photos on this site.
