On rare occasions I do have a mandolin built that is not already sold as a custom order.  Please contact me to inquire about stock or for a quote to order your own custom EBMW mandolin.

Custom Options

The above standard specs are just the starting point of your custom mandolin project.  The great thing about custom ordering is that you get to choose what the final instrument will look like so that it can be a one-of-a-kind creation.

Colors

All of my colors are hand mixed for each mandolin project.  Following are photos of some of the colors that I have used.  Many were matched from photos sent to me by clients.  I will be happy to match any color you may find or work with you to create a color or combination of colors for your instrument.

.

Due to the extra labor involved in gloss black and blonde finished mandolins, these colors will carry the following upcharges:
Gloss Black face - $150.00 upcharge
Blonde (natural) -  $200.00 upcharge

Inlays

Peghead inlay is one of the great ways for you to customize your mandolin.  Standard pricing includes a choice of many inlays.  Some are shown below.  During the quote / order process we can discuss other options for both standard and up-grade inlays.   Custom inlays are also available (see Cherub, Seahorse and other inlay pictures below).

All EBMW mandolins come with the standard 'Blevins' peghead inlay as seen on some of the more recent photos on this site.  I have discontinued use of the 'EB' logo.

Standard position markers are 3/16" MOP dots.  You can also choose from 1/4" MOP dots or Diamonds (shown in picture) at no extra charge.  Other shapes are available.  WMOP Block Inlay set upcharge is $85.00.

Building mandolins with distinct features makes the task exciting and the end product a one-of-a kind instrument.  I would be happy to discuss any ideas that you may have about different wood species, sub species, hardware, etc.  Email me today to get started on your custom mandolin experience.
